Statement

My fabric art is an extension of my personality and allows me expression and creativity.   Incorporating movement and texture is a natural extension of that for me.  I love the feel and versatility of silk and prefer to work mostly with it. Painting silk habotai and cotton provides me with my own interpretation of shapes and colours.  Using dupioni and hand dyed silk allows my work to come to life along with sheer overlays, embellishment and free hand machine quilting.
