Northern Lights Inspired the making of 'Spright' and it was created in one session between the hours of midnight to 6am. I began with marbling colors, then dipping one large square brush into each color to individually spackle transparent layers with my other hand frisking brush hairs in a vigorous motion using consistent force. Just as each layer would dry and my satisfaction grew, I continued until one final red dot unified this piece. This is an action painting that required much focus on posture, stability, breath, dexterity, and refocusing of eyesight as the night light shifted.
