2120 South Michigan Avenue is part of the Arrangements series and explores the beauty of what is discarded through the recomposition of spent bouquets. I am kept up at night with the emerging beauty found in the aging process of flowers. There is a haunting beauty in the withered, a poignant reminder that even in decline, there remains a resonance of grace and allure. In the darkness and the flickering light, the composition emerges slowly from the depth of night, the music from 2120 South Michigan Avenue filling the room.
